Volunteer Connection 6.2.2

A new mobile app, Volunteer Connection, has been launched by the American Red Cross specifically for their existing volunteers. This app allows volunteers to conveniently manage their activity with the organization, all from the convenience of their mobile device.

The Volunteer Connection app provides a range of features that volunteers can take advantage of. They can register for shifts, update their contact information, and submit hours, among other tasks that are typically managed through the organization's volunteer management system. Now, all of these important activities can be done with just a few simple touches on their phone or tablet.

The American Red Cross relies on the dedication and hard work of over 200,000 volunteers who contribute to their mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering on a daily basis. These volunteers play a vital role in responding to disasters, teaching life-saving skills within their communities, and supporting ongoing activities with their unique talents and skills.

By utilizing the Volunteer Connection app, existing American Red Cross volunteers can further enhance their involvement with the organization and contribute to a more enriching volunteer experience overall. It is important to note that currently, the app is only available to General Volunteers. Youth and Prospective Volunteers will not have access until their intake process is complete or until further notice.
